General

• Delivery applies to mainland England, Wales & Scotland only (certain postcode restrictions may apply).

• Free delivery applies to all products within their individual delivery area over a value of £1,000 (composite doors require no minimum order value to qualify for free delivery).

• Our working days are Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

• Our delivery times are Monday to Friday, between the hours of 7am to 6pm. 

• Our deliveries are carried out by a one man kerbside delivery service, please ensure that there is sufficient labour on site to hand offload the delivery. Failure to do so may result in the delivery being returned and rescheduled.

• Delivery vehicles can be as large as an 18.5to flat bed lorry. The customer is required to advise External Doors Online if there are any site restrictions that may prevent delivery taking place. Failure to do so may result in the delivery being returned and rescheduled.

• All orders will only be delivered to the address stated at the time of the order. Delivery addresses cannot be changed after the order has been placed.

• Delivery dates are issued based on the weekly allocated delivery day for delivery into the specific postcode area. Delivery days cannot be chosen or specified by the customer.

• All deliveries are to be checked and signed for by the customer at the point of delivery, unless there has been a prior agreement with transport.

• Any defects or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of the delivery, or claims will be rendered invalid.

• Please do not commence or arrange any work / install to be carried out until you have received and checked your product fully. Please note, ONCE THE ITEMS ARE FITTED, External Doors Online cannot be held responsible for any damages found.

• The customer will be emailed delivery tracking information for GRP composite door and solid core composite door orders on the morning of the delivery. For all other products, the couriers will contact the customer on the contact number provided on the day of delivery to advise an arrival ETA. No ETAs can be given prior to the day of delivery.

• Cortizo Aluminium Bifolds are delivered are delivered with preassembled glazed sashes and a flat pack / kit form outer frame. The outer frame is to be assembled by the customer on site.

• Smarts Visofold Aluminium Bifolds are delivered preassembled where possible. This consists of a preassembled outer frame and preassembled door sashes. The door sashes are loose, along with the glass, for installation on site.

• Korniche Bifolds are delivered preassembled where possible. This consists of a preassembled outer frame and preassembled door sashes. The door sashes are loose, along with the glass, for installation on site.

• Indi-Fold Slide & Stack Aluminium Doors are delivered preassembled where possible. This consists of a preassembled outer frame and preassembled door sashes. The door sashes are loose, along with the glass, for installation on site.
